Meet the Artist
A NOTE FROM TAYLOR GRACE
Hi, I’m Taylor — the artist and dreamer behind Taylor Grace. 🌸
I create hand-painted acrylic artworks inspired by enchanted gardens, fairytale worlds, and the quiet magic found in nature.
My creative journey began in 2020, during a time when the world felt slower and uncertain. Painting became my way of finding comfort, a place to pour my imagination, slow my thoughts, and create something gentle during quieter days. What started as a small creative outlet soon grew into something deeply meaningful.
Art has always felt like a safe space for me. Through soft florals, flowing movement, and dreamy colour palettes, I try to capture feelings of warmth, wonder, and nostalgia, the kind of magic that feels like stepping into a storybook or wandering through an overgrown garden at golden hour.
After finishing school, I went on to study art in sixth form, where I earned an A*. That experience gave me the confidence to dream a little bigger and begin turning my passion into something real. Over time, my work has continued to evolve, with each piece beginning as an original hand-painted artwork before being transformed into prints and keepsakes designed to be treasured.
Today, Taylor Grace is my enchanted little corner of the world, a place where paintings bloom into collections inspired by fairytales, nature, and imagination. More than just a shop, it’s a space for those who love art that feels soft, whimsical, and full of heart.
Whether you’re here to find an original painting, a dreamy print, or simply to wander for a moment, I hope my work brings a little magic into your day.
Thank you so much for being here 🤍
Love, Tay xx
ABOUT MY WORK
My artwork is inspired by nature, fairytales, and the idea of finding magic in everyday moments. I love creating soft, whimsical floral paintings that feel dreamy, warm, and full of gentle movement. A lot of my pieces are inspired by gardens, sunlight, petals, and the peaceful feeling of slowing down and noticing small details.
I often work intuitively, letting colours blend naturally and allowing happy accidents to guide the direction of the painting. I enjoy layered textures, loose brushstrokes, and soft colour transitions, which give my work an organic and expressive quality. My goal is to create artwork that feels comforting, uplifting, and a little bit magical, something that invites the viewer to pause and daydream.
HOW I MAKE MY ART (PROCESS)
I usually begin with loose sketching or sometimes painting directly without a strict plan. I like my work to feel expressive and natural rather than overly controlled. I start by blocking in loose shapes and colours with acrylic paint, focusing on movement and overall composition rather than fine detail.
Acrylic allows me to build up layers quickly, so I gradually add depth, highlights, and texture as the painting develops. I often work in multiple layers, allowing colours to overlap and interact to create richness and visual interest. I enjoy experimenting with brush marks, blending, and occasionally palette knife texture to create organic patterns and painterly surfaces.
I focus on balance making sure the painting feels harmonious in colour, composition, and movement. I regularly step back to assess how the painting feels emotionally as well as visually, adjusting areas until the piece feels complete and cohesive.
Once the original painting is finished, I professionally scan or photograph it and turn it into high-quality art prints so the artwork can be shared and enjoyed by more people.
WHY I MAKE MY ART (INTENTIONS & MEANING)
I create art to bring joy, calm, and inspiration into people’s spaces. I love the idea that a painting can change the atmosphere of a room and make someone feel happier, more peaceful, or more creative.
My work is also about storytelling without words letting colour, light, and texture suggest emotion and imagination rather than showing something literal. I want viewers to connect personally with the artwork and create their own meanings and stories.
